Design and Development of Custom Real-time Supply Chain Metrics
Stop & Shop and Giant were opening a new shared services DC facility in Freetown, MA. The facility is highly automated with AS/RS crane equipment. They needed to stretch the facility to service more stores than originally expected. To-date they have saved more that $7 Million in inventory and labor, and increased their service level by 2-3%.
